Stormie is competing for America's Favorite Pet. She has made it to the Quarterfinals.
There are hundreds of other dogs in the competition. All deserve to win this title. As Stormie's human, I'm a little partial but she is THE.CUTEST.DOG.EVER. Stormie joined the Scholl pack in 2019. Since joining the pack, Stormi has become the nurturer of the pack. She has comforted other members of the pack when they were sick or facing the ends of their lives. In 2020, Stormie underwent surgery to remove a cluster of pea sized tumors in her mammary gland. Two days later, her "sister," Petra underwent a full mastectomy to remove tumors that had spread all through her mammary chain. Stormie's tumors came back malignant, but the prognosis was good. Petra's came back malignant, but her outcome was not as good. Petra had a mastectomy to remove the other side of the mammary chain, but the cancer came back. When the time came to say "Goodbye" to Petra, Stormie insisted on going with her Mom and Petra to the veterinarian clinic. Stormie laid back to back with Petra while the veterinarian administered the drugs to put her to sleep.
That's just who Stormie is. She has a such compassionate soul. Along with that, Stormie also has a loud voice. And on top of all that, she is so stinking cute! She has a lot packed in that little straggly haired body of hers.
I believe she was RESCUED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
